I worked for Soma Earth Architect in Toronto, Canada as an architectural designer. We were a small office that focused on natural building, primarily with stray, clay and earth. My role helped to complete the first straw bale retrofit in the city of Toronto, as well as other residential projects in the surrounding area.

I was also in charge of running workshops to teach natural building skills, where I planned, managed and marketed the events and built small projects over the weekends - including a solar shower, cold cellar, chicken coop, and constantly worked on building our own office.
