This is one of the projects I am most proud of, it aims to build durable, affordable and sustainable housing for rural Cambodians. As many people in Cambodia build their own homes, they often get destroyed during monsoons because of poor quality materials or construction.

By prefabricating a modular design in a vernacular fashion, this housing solution is fast and easy to build and can be added to and customized as the users see fit. The building components of steel, recycled wood and panels, are locally produced and flat packed in to one truck that can navigate rice fields and unpaved rural areas.

I was the lead architect and designer for this project. My team built 5 prototypes and engineered everything to be easy to build and transport. They are now available in Cambodia for individual sale in three modular sizes.
